Good American Jeans Review – Are They Worth The Hype?
Good American jeans have been all the rage for the last few years.
On its launch day alone, the brand sold $1 million dollars in merchandise.
However, they’re not exactly the most affordable jeans around. Not by a long shot.
Good American jeans can be found in some styles for $99 with other styles ranging as high as $165.
They’re definitely a splurge for many.
With Khloe Kardashian as a co-founder and face of the brand, many wonder if the jeans are really worth the hype or if it’s all just smoke and mirrors.
So, if you’ve been eyeing the brand but have been hesitant to pull the trigger, keep reading for our full Good American Jeans review!
Good American Jeans Review
Good American Jeans come in a wide range of styles and sizes.
This is the first huge draw we noticed about the brand.
Relaxed, straight, skinny, and loose-fit jeans are just some of the styles you can expect to see when browsing the site.
Additionally, most jeans are available in sizes 00 through 30, which is certainly a much wider size range than most other retailers.
Let’s get into the details of the pair we chose for our first Good American purchase.
These are the “Good Legs” jeans and they are a high waisted skinny style.
They also happen to be the brand’s #1 best seller.
The high waist sits up over the belly button (even on my super long torso) and the legs are skinny all the way through the ankle.
I was shocked at the ease of being able to pull them up via the belt loops.
Most jeans don’t feel as strong when pulled by the belt loops, but with the reinforcing on these, I can tell they’re really durable.

Good American Jeans Sizing
While these jeans are crazy comfortable I feel that they run a bit large.
I ordered my normal size and did feel like I had to pull them up quite a bit.
I think I would have been better going down one size due to all the stretch these have.
However, the very popular “Always Fits” style has a size guide all of its own.
While all Good American Jeans are designed with full inclusivity in mind, the “Always Fits” style is something I’ve never seen any other brand offer.
“Always Fits” jeans are designed to stretch up to 4 sizes for those who tend to fluctuate in weight/size.
The sizes are available in ranges vs. a standard size.
For example, the first size available fits anywhere from a 00-4.
Do Good American Jeans Run Big or Small?
From my experience, I find they run a bit large.
I suggest sizing down one for a perfect fit.
Why Are Good American Jeans So Expensive?
Good American jeans use high-quality fabrics in all of their products and feature reinforced belt loops that never rip.
What’s special about Good American is that they are TRULY inclusive and all items are high quality, functional, AND fashionable.
Maybe it’s my shape but in my experience, finding a great-fitting pair of jeans is like finding a needle in a haystack.
When I do have those rare occasions that I find a pair that fits well, I tend to buy them in multiple washes because it’s just so rare.
So for me, I’d rather spend $150 on a really good pair than $50 on a bunch of pairs that are so-so.
I find that when you invest in a high-quality pair of jeans they end up lasting for years.
While Good American jeans may be more expensive than other brands, the quality certainly matches the price tag.

Final Thoughts
While the jeans I got were a bit on the large side I would still say they are 100% worth every penny.
I just know that next time I will order a size down.
The quality, fit, and comfort are incredible.
I’ve had these jeans now for almost 3 years and they look just as good as the day I first got them.
