Lulus Review: Is It Legit & Worth Shopping On The Site?
I decided to do an in-depth Lulus review after sharing this dress on social media and being asked over and over “OMG where is that dress from?!”
I’ve been shopping Lulu’s for a long time and never thought people would speculate if Lulu’s was legit – but apparently, they do!
If you happen to be on the fence about shopping Lulus.com, I’ve got plenty of info to share.
Lulus Review – Is Lulu’s Legit?
Last year I ordered a few special occasion dresses from Lulu’s and this one was hand down my favorite.
Not only was it my favorite Lulu’s purchase ever, but it was one of my top 2 dress purchases of all time from ANY retailer.
This dress is one of the best sellers on the entire site so it’s often out of stock.
However, if you sign up for notifications, you’ll be emailed when it becomes available again.
It’s excellent quality, the perfect fit, and has such a unique design.
I loved that it had some sex appeal but wasn’t over the top and the top actually stayed up throughout the night without me having to constantly adjust it.
It was the perfect dress for the fall wedding we attended!
What is Lulu’s?
Lulu’s is a chic online retailer of women’s clothing that is popular for its extensive dress selection but also has tons of tops, shoes, bottoms, and accessories.
They carry the latest trends and high-quality products for just about any occasion.
Whether you need a wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, swimwear, or trendy separates, Lulu’s has it all.
We’ll get into some important FAQs at the end of this post but to start, I want to go over some more of my purchases from the site and my personal experience with the retailer.

Something I want to note before we continue is that Lulu’s store credit never expires.
I remembered this when I logged into my account and to my surprise had a nice little chunk sitting there for me to use. Sweet!
While Lulu’s is extremely popular for its incredible dress selection, it also has other great items as well.
These boots are another one of my all-time favorite favorites.
The color is absolutely gorgeous, they’re comfortable, and they aren’t heavy.
They are the perfect neutral and are great for transitioning between seasons.
They look adorable with jeans but also work well with leggings and sweater dresses, too.
This tank top bodysuit is one of Lulu’s latest arrivals.
I have a long torso and sized up one for a longer inseam and it fits perfectly. It’s breathable, stretchy, of great quality, and an affordable price.
This bodysuit paired with jeans is the perfect outfit for a casual day of running errands but could also double as a date night look with a moto jacket and a pair of heels.
Recently, I was looking for a cute set I could bring on vacation.
I always check the new arrivals section for seasonal stuff and doing so didn’t disappoint.
I felt the price point of this set was fair for the quality and find that it’s very comfortable.
I’m 5’4″ and could get away with wearing this with flip-flops and/or heels.
As mentioned earlier, Lulu’s also has an extensive shoe selection.
I purchased several pairs of shoes from them over the years but these heels are another one of my favorites because they’re so versatile.
Lulu’s Return Policy
I don’t ever worry about having to make returns at Lulu’s because their return policy is great.
Lulus has a free returns policy If you postmark your package within 10 days of receiving your item and Lulu’s provides the return label.
If you return your item after 10 days (but before 30 days) you have to pay a $7 return fee.
The return window is 30 days.
I have returned several items to Lulu’s with no issues and the return process is very simple.

Lulu’s Is an online store but now has 1 outlet in Downtown Chico, CA. If you happen to live local you can shop the latest styles in-store.

Is Lulu’s legit?
Yes! Lulu’s is 100% legit.
Lulu’s isn’t one of those sites where you have to worry about never receiving your order or worry about it getting delivered a month from now.
Lulu’s is a trustworthy online shopping destination with solid business practices and its items look just like what you see its models wearing.
Where Does Lulu’s Ship From?
Lulus.com orders ship from the Pennsylvania and California warehouses.
Orders in the US with ground shipping generally take between 48-72 hours to be shipped.
US orders over $50 receive free shipping (ground).
I’ve always received my Lulu’s orders within a reasonable amount of time.
How do you make a Lulu’s return?
To make your free return simply log into your Lulus account, go to the item you want to return, then print the label.
Once you’ve packaged up your return you can bring it to any UPS or USPS to drop it off.
If you have questions about an item it’s easy to get in contact with Lulu’s, unlike many other online-only stores. Lulu’s customer care team is always available to help.
Is Lulus ethical?
Yes, Lulu’s is ethical.
You can read Lulu’s disclosure which states its connection with the California Transparency In Supply Chains Act on its website here and what they do to uphold these standards.
Is Lulu’s A Good Brand?
From my experience, yes. I’ve never received a poor quality item from Lulu’s.
Lulu’s actually considers itself to be an affordable luxury retailer by providing pieces made of high-quality construction with high-end finishes.
Is Lulus fast fashion?
Lulus clothing is not fast fashion. As you can read in the Lulus disclosure the brand sources its items from manufacturers that are ethical and follow fair labor practices.
They carry popular, well-known brands like Steve Madden, Levi’s, and Agolde that you would find in much larger retail stores.
Is Lulu’s Like Shein?
Nope! Shein is the epitome of fast fashion and Lulu’s is not a fast-fashion brand.
I’ve personally never had a horrible experience with Shein, but I also only shop there a certain way. You can read how here.
As mentioned previously, Lulu’s sources its pieces in a very different way and it shows in the quality of the products.
Is Lulu’s true to size?
For the most part yes, however, all pieces will vary since they are not from one particular manufacturer. My overall experience has been that most pieces do fit me true to size.
I always recommend reading the reviews from previous purchasers because there is a section specifically for how the item fits.
Is it worth it to download the Lulus app?
Yes! In the lulu’s app you will have access to app-exclusive product launches, exclusive app-only coupons, early access to sales, and you can easily write product reviews on purchases.
Does Lulu’s offer a student discount?

Conclusion
I personally love shopping the Lulu’s site – especially for dresses.
Whatever the occasion is you can almost guarantee Lulu’s has a dress for it and there are new styles added weekly.
The customer service department is very helpful, the clothes are great quality, and yes, it is a safe place to shop.
